Hello everybody! Today I’d like to show you a place which is out of the usual tourist areas, but it worths to visit it. Don’t worry, it is each to approach with public transport. Bereg Cafe & Bar located on the Buda side, between Széll Kálmán Square and Batthyány Square. The exact address is 49. Batthyányi Street. Have you heard about Hattyúház in Széll Kálmán Square? If yes, you will easily find the location, the café is in the back of the building. (Anyway, this building contains offices, language school and yoga studio.)
From the entrance to the chairs you have to go through a cozy garden with a pond, fairy lamps. Also, if you love cats, Bereg Café is an ideal place for you, there is a lovely cat, Safranek. The tables look very rustic, but you can even sit to a hammock.
The foods and the drinks are very delicious, especially the home-made lemonade, not to mentioned their pálinka! Have you tried it? The menu card looks like a passport!!! It was a pity I couldn’t keep it as a memento. 🙂
All in all, I spent a good time in this place and I highly recommend it both for eating or just for an escape from the city noise. Hope you will enjoy this place! See you next time!
